Positives:
- I like the way that we made the main character the main focus of the poster as it not only gives another insight into our film bus it clearly shows what this magazine issue is about.
- As it is uncommon for Empire magazines to have a unclear background it gives our magazine a sense of individuality- and the colour creates a link between all three of our media products, therefore making it recognisable to our audience.
- It is again uncommon for an Empire magazine to have a black and white photograph on the front cover of their magazine, therefore it helps to add individuality to our film, and will make this issue rememberable.
- We have kept the conventions of a magazine cover, to make ours look realistic and to resemble a real media product.
Negatives:
- As we have a red background it limited the amount of colours in which we could use for the other texts for the inside articles etc. We did try a variety of colours however we felt it made our magazine look tacky, and it gave it a less professional appearance.
- As we didn't tell our main character to wear all black, it meant that we had to put the photo as black and white because otherwise it meant that there was to many colours, and ruined our theme with the continuenty of red.
- Again to do with the text- I feel personally that it is slightly boring as its all the same, however when we trie dit with all different fonts we felt that again it took away from the professional look. Also as the theme of our trailer was a thriller we felt that with diffenret fonts it took away from the seriosuness of this style of film.
